But, I can tell you that after using it for 30-40 minutes a day since Sunday evening, I have lost 4.7 lbs in those short 4 days! And I haven’t even changed my eating habits.

It may look boring, but it is like having a personal trainer in front of you that can show you the proper form for many of these exercises. The balancing games are fairly entertaining, and makes me kind of enjoy getting in a little workout. I have been going to the gym, and haven’t seen these kind of results, granted, it has been only once or twice a week… but if I can keep up with it, I should be able to get back to under 200 lbs someday!

The Devastation In Windsor

Thursday, at around 12:30pm, I got a call from Dan. His sister in Windsor had called to tell him that their house was one of the unfortunate 596 homes in the small town of Windsor to be hit by the massive mile wide tornado that ravaged northern Colorado that morning.

It was such a surreal moment, I hear about these horrific acts of nature taking out towns like this, but it is never anyone you know. As of right now, we still don’t know the extent of the damage to their home, but that they are not currently allowed back there to get their belongings right now. We do know that there was substantial damage to their roof, and the windows have been blown out. Thankfully all of the family is ok, and living with the in-laws right now. Their house is one of the 102 homes deemed unsafe.

I would ask any of my readers that are able, to please donate to the red cross here to help the many residents of Windsor who have been left homeless, or have massive repairs coming their way to get their lives back on track. Bad Ideas!

Just to let you know, washing an iPod Shuffle with your clothes is not a good idea! Damnit, now I don’t have music for the gym! just a pretty non-functioning, albeit clean, orange shuffle.

This Struck Me Last Night…

After last night’s Super Tuesday Caucuses, It got me a little scared when I saw Huckabee starting to gain some momentum. I really feel he is too extreme right winged to be good for this country. Every time I hear his name the movie comes to mind, and last night, I just thought out loud, the no, I don’t Heart Huckabee. I just hope that McCain can maintain his lead should we not be able to get a democrat into office this next election.

Given Kucinich’s drop out of the running for election, I have struggled to decide who I want to throw my support behind. I have researched, and feel that I am most compatible with Obama. It has been a difficult decision between him and Clinton, but, in the end I feel that he seems to be more sincere in his hopes for change in this country.

Cars on Blu-Ray

Disney has finally managed to pick sides for HD content. They have gone with Blu-Ray… Now if only I could afford one of those pretty players! In honor of the release this week on Blu-Ray, I bring you my Cars collection I have in my cubicle! I am still trying to track down about 8 or 9 more of the current release… at least that’s what it is now, until they release more, or there is a sequel!

Whew, Not Cheap!

Here I sit at McDs, while my poor Taco sits at Discount Tires waiting for it’s new shoes. One of my tires had developed a slow leak. I stopped in to get it fixed and, well, my tires have dryrot! $750 later and I will have beautiful new all season tires. I just wan’t prepared for it to be that much today.

My Weekend Fun! :)

My weekends have been busy as all get out lately, and this past weekend was no exception.

I want to start off by thanking Kath for de-virginizing me at her second Co-ed Sex Toy Party. I was a little aprehensive to go at first, but once I got there it wasn’t as perverted and embarassing as I thought it would be. And thanks to Cameron for his wonderful concoctions he whipped up for the party (The Margarita Mousse was fantastic!). Dan joked with me when he got home that night, that I am the only person who could go to a sex toy party and only come away with a non-sexual item! I ended up buying the octopus, which is one of those hard plastic back massagers. I figured it would help me when Dan begs for a massage. I am not so good at giving good massage!

Saturday, I had to go out in search of a new lawnmower. I was out Thrusday night trying to cut the lawn with my freebie pushreel mower. It’s been a nightmare with all the rain we’ve been getting, and I had to weedwhack the whole backyard last weekend as it had gotten way too long to use the reel mower on (some of the weeds were 3ft tall). Well, this time they weren’t too bad, but just all that poor little thing could handle… I was pushing it, and it came to an abrupt stop and the handle bar broke. So I have joined civilized mowing and now own an electric lawnmower!

Saturday night, our friend Walt hosted this month’s game night! Avast Ye Matey, it was heavily pirate themed, with pirate booty and some gold coins, with a fun Pirate game. The best game for those of you that really enjoy annoying people to no end was called Curses. It is hysterical watching as the curses build on a person. The best was poor Matt who was cursed with an invisible golf ball in his mouth, and his hands superglued to his head. He was then cursed with having to also talk with an irish accent. Watching him try to pick up cards and read them without taking his hands of his head was downright hysterical!

Sunday was a fun surprise birthday party for one of my co-workers. It was her 40th, and boy was she surprised! She was in tears for a bit, and we all thought we were going to get the boot! But after a margarita or two she was mellowed out and was very thankful! Dan and I gave her a bottle of O&CO’s new White Basalmic with Oregano, man is that stuff delicious! We really got spoiled when Dan worked there and he got his discount. But it got us hooked on their stuff… Who knew that the kind of olive oil you use in cooking could make such a difference!
