Not to be outdone by Howard’s Weird Al song, I present this! I was trying to see if there was a video for “You’re Pitiful,” and stumbled across, “My Cubicle.” I find it rather fitting considering this past weeks events!

Here are the lyrics:

“My Cubicle”
Lyrics by: Morning Sidekick
Performed by: Jym Britton
Parody on “You’re Beautiful” by James Blunt

My job is stupid my day’s a bore,
Inside this office from eight to four
Nothin’ ever happens my life is pretty bland,
Pretending that I’m working, pray I don’t get canned.
My Cubicle, My cubicle
It’s One of Sixty two
It’s my small space in a crowded place
Just a six-by-six foot booth
And I hate it that’s the truth
When I give a sigh as the boss walks by,
no one ever talks to me or looks me in the eye.
And I really should work but instead I just sit here and surf the Internet.
In My Cubicle, My cubicle
It doesn’t have a view.
It’s my small space in a crowded place
I sit in solitude.
And sometimes I sit here nude.

  1. Oh, my god, dude… James Blunt must die. Once Wierd Al comes out with a parody of it, you KNOW it’s already god damn annoying. The first time I heard the original song, I was like “Dubbayateeeff is this?!” Then the second time I actually liked it. Then the third time, I was all Ok, thats enough now. And then the fourth time and beyond I was like STFU!!!111oneoneone! And after the 20th time or so, I started contemplating how I could go about murdering that limey bastard. I mean, it’s the “My heart will go on” of the 21st Century.
