topbanner_01.jpg
That is the title of the forthcoming album from Erasure, due out May 22st here in the states. May 21st in the UK! The first single will be released April 2nd in the UK, no date yet for the US. I can’t wait! I will update as I know more information.

UPDATE 01/30/2007: The first single will be called ‘I Could Fall In Love With You’

Also of note, the DVD release of On the Road to Nashville, is due out in the US on Feb. 20th, and the UK Jan. 29th. This is the DVD of the acoustic tour from last year. My friend, Howard, treated me to this concert last year for my birthday. It was a fanstastic show, and I look forward to having a copy of the tour to remember the show. I have a post of my experiences from the show here.

Apple Steals Vista’s Thunder! :)

shuffle-colors.jpg

So today, Apple announced update iPod Shuffles in an array of colors. If I had any need for another iPod, I would so be after the orange Shuffle! That is one of the best looking colors I have seen them come out with to date!

Still only $79, you get your choice of the original silver, but now the green, pink, and blue that the nano comes in, as well as the new orange. Of course, I do have a birthday coming up in a few months… hint, hint 😉

The new line up of shuffles finally include the new headphones that were released with the new iPod videos back in September 2006. The original silver 2g iPod Shuffle still included the older headphones. Other than that and the new colors, there is nothing else new about the shuffle.

The Rose Report: What’s That Word?

hamm_carpet.jpg
Have you ever had a day where you see a word, a word that you see everyday, but for some reason this particular day it doesn’t come across that way? This happens to me every so often… but this past weekend, this was really bad. One of those stories, that if you just can’t laugh at yourself, then what’s the point? I figured you could all use another laugh at my expense!

Anyway, I was driving home from the hockey game the other night, and drove by this carpet store… I saw the word carpet, but for some reason it registered as CarPet to me… So, I sat there trying to figure out for a minute or so what exactly a CarPet could be… I guess it must be like Hamm above.. A car shaped like an animal! 🙂

So, how ’bout it… any examples of this happening to others of you out there?

When Muppets Go Bad!

elmorowdy.jpeg
So last night, Dan, His dad, his younger sister and I went to a Rage Hockey game. It was my Christmas preseant from Dan’s parents. For those that don’t know, The Rage are Denver area’s newest Professional Hockey Team. Much cheaper than going to an Avs game, but still with all the fighting! Thanks to his parents for the tickets! Hockey is the only sport I like to watch live, it’s non-stop, doesn’t give you a chance to get bored like so many others!

Anyway, their mascot is called Rowdy. And all I could think of the whole night when I saw him, was that Elmo had gotten old and fat and went to work as a Team Mascot. Tell me you don’t agree!

Oh, and yes, we won 8-4!
